My name is Grégori, I’m Canadian, and I recently made a career change to become a helicopter pilot. After doing extensive research, I chose to enroll at Passport Hélico’s flight school, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

From day one, I was impressed with the quality of instruction given and the passion the instructors have for their work. They are all qualified and experienced professionals, and their expertise helped me learn quickly and efficiently.

The training was comprehensive and well structured, with a combination of theoretical lessons and practical flight training. This allowed me to feel comfortable flying a helicopter from day one, and to gain confidence over the duration of the training.

Finally, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming community at Passport Hélico. The instructors and other students are all very friendly and ready to help. It created a positive and encouraging learning environment where I felt supported throughout my training.

After obtaining my CPL(H) license, I was hired by Héli-Tremblant, which is a partner of Passport Hélico. I was based in Ottawa during the summer of 2022 doing tours of the Ottawa and Gatineau region as well as some charter flights. At the end of the summer, I was transferred to Mont-Tremblant with a colleague of my graduating class. I was lucky enough to be given the Bell 206 endorsement in December 2022. I now fly a Bell 206 for Héli-Tremblant.

I am proud to say that I have completed my training at Passport Hélico’s flight school, and I am confident in my skills to continue my career as a helicopter pilot. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to become a helicopter pilot and am grateful for the positive experience I had at school.
