Hello,

Like a lot of students looking to obtain their professional helicopter license, I’m a French citizen. I arrived in Québec a little over 3 years ago to settle down and test the waters; I was pleasantly surprised by the many possibilities you can find in Quebec.

After several meetings in France that advised me to cross the Atlantic, I moved there with my girlfriend.

I went out to meet a company that does helicopter tours (Héli-Tremblant) not far from where I moved. I was welcomed there by Anthony and Damien who are pilots there, both from Passport Hélico’s flight school, the school to which they introduced me to. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I sympathized with Thibault, Nico, Maxime… who will become my flight instructors.

After a year or so, discussions, and visits to other schools, I decide to sign with Passport Helico, which is all I’m looking for, and I get to work ground operations for Héli-Tremblant, a partner of Passport Helico, during the summer of 2021.

In September 2021, the training begins, and it goes wonderfully: great setting, competent instructors and staff, everything is done to push you towards your goal. All 7 students in my class validate their exams and we are all given our chance to accumulate flight hours. And the possibilities after getting your license are multiple.

I am doing the 2022 summer season with Héli-Tremblant as a young pilot, and to this day (January 2023), I’m still there with a colleague who was part of my 2021/2022 class.

Still in the beginning of my journey, I enjoy every moment.
