Transport Canada requires a minimum of 45 hours of training. However it is unlikely to succeed with this amount of training. This is why we recommend you budget 65 hours of flight training.
65 flight hours
40 hours of ground school
A written exam and a flight test
A dream came true! With a team of true professionals, who support you with smile and passion.
The training on RH22 has the advantage to significantly reduce your training costs. The relatively limited capacity of RH22 sharpens precise control, cautiousness and help understanding helicopters’ limitations.
On RH 44
Most private pilots wish to become owners of a R44 after their training. The experience on the type of aircraft you plan to purchase will allow you to be more comfortable, safer and benefit from lower insurance rates after the purchase.
On your own aircraft
To do your course on your own helicopter is possible.
The helicopter must belong to the student (his name must appear on the certificate of registration).
The helicopter must be a RH22, a RH44, a EC120, a EC30, a MD500 or a Bell 206.
Your insurance must allow training on your helicopter.
