Canadian immigration
- Non-Canadian candidates must obtain a visa to attend the course at our school if the length of the stay is superior to 6 months.
- After confirmation of your inscription, we will send you a presence attestation that you will have to send to the Canadian embassy in your country. The delay to obtain a visa is usually around 5 weeks; it is a necessary document to start the training with us. A proof will be asked upon your arrival at the airport.
- Language:
- It is not an obligation to be bilingual, for communications on the radio frequencies can be made in English in Quebec.
- Medical exam:
- You must pass a medical exam with a doctor approved by Transport Canada before your first solo flight. A list of those doctors by country is available on demand.

- Contrary to popular belief, a pilot can wear prescription glasses or contact lenses, whether for the private or the commercial license. Furthermore, certain physical limitations can be tolerated. Ask your doctor!

We are used to deal with families that will foster you while you complete your training. Contact us for more details.
- Individual apartments:
Budget around 500$ per month. Please be informed that they do not always include furniture.
- Weather:
- Quebec is a country of extremes when we’re talking about the weather. Winter is as cold and dry as the summer is hot and humid. Here’s a good piece of advice : inform yourself before your arrival to know what to put in your baggage!
- Familiarisation week:
- Its objective is not only to introduce you to helicopter flight, but also to make you discover this beautiful country that Canada is. A forfeit including a round-trip airline ticket, lodging for 6 nights, transportation from the Montréal airport to our installations, 4 hours of flight in a Robinson R22 and an initiation to the ground school courses is available.
